The Directorate is involved in training of students on online ICT Support Help Desk system, Students online services, Google apps for education, KU corporate email services and CampusVue ERP system. Students’ online services include online registration of students, online accessing of results, academic progress reports, viewing of fees statement and online hostel application services.
Students’ portal is available on: https://portal.ku.ac.ke/ while online hostel application services are available on: http://hostel.ku.ac.ke/
Google apps for education include Google classroom, Google group, Google drive etc which can be accessed through: https://www.google.com/edu/products/productivity-tools/
Staff members are also trained on ICT Support Help Desk system and other systems in the University. Training is supplement by development of user manuals that are highly customized to make it easy for users to understand.
CampusVue ERP System training involves training on Academic Records, Fnance Module, Admissions, Career Services, Loan Management, Students Services, Housing, Financial Aid and Contact Manager.
